Kompany Lets One Go

Man City 1–0 Leicester · Etihad Stadium, Manchester

Seventy minutes of Leicester resistance ended with one swing from the captain.

Leicester had kept City goalless for 70 minutes when the captain, a centre-back, wound up from 25 yards and found the top corner. It was his first goal from outside the box for the club, and it put City a point clear of Liverpool with one match left to play.
