Milito Finishes the Treble

Inter Milan 2–0 Bayern · Santiago Bernabéu, Madrid

Milito's brace gave Inter the treble and Mourinho a farewell.

Diego Milito scored both goals in Madrid, first off a one-two with Sneijder, then by going round Van Buyten to finish Eto'o's pass. It was Inter's first European Cup in 45 years and the last piece of a treble. Mourinho resigned to take over at Real Madrid six days later.
