UEFA Champions League · Semi-final, second leg (United won 4-1 on aggregate) · 5 May 2009

Forty Yards at the Emirates

Arsenal 1–3 Man Utd · Emirates Stadium, London

Two Ronaldo goals sent United to Rome; one came from forty yards.

Park put United ahead after eight minutes and Ronaldo added a free-kick from almost forty yards three minutes later, before Almunia could settle. His second, on 61 minutes, finished a counter that ran through Park and Rooney. Arsenal's late penalty, after Fletcher's red card, changed nothing: United took the tie 4-1.
