Tokyo Samba

Flamengo 3–0 Liverpool · National Stadium, Tokyo

Zico ran Tokyo, and Flamengo ran Liverpool off the pitch.

Flamengo's captain Zico created all three goals and ran the game from midfield as Liverpool could not get near the ball. Nunes scored twice and Adílio once, all before half-time, as the Brazilians took the world title 3-0. Zico was named man of the match.
