One Flick, One Spin

Newcastle 0–2 Arsenal · St James' Park, Newcastle upon Tyne

A flick one way, a spin the other, and Dabizas is gone.

Pires's low pass reached Bergkamp with his back to goal and Dabizas on top of him. He flicked it round the defender on one side, spun off the other, and slid it past Given. Eleven minutes in, Arsenal had a lead and a goal people still replay.
