One finish from Dalglish kept the European Cup at Anfield.

Brugge defended deep and held Liverpool out for over an hour. Then Souness slipped the ball through and Dalglish chipped it over the advancing Jensen for the only goal. It made Liverpool the first British side to retain the European Cup.
