Keegan's Last Night in Red

Liverpool 3–1 Borussia Mönchengladbach · Stadio Olimpico, Rome

Keegan's farewell, and a first European Cup for Liverpool.

Keegan was playing his final game for Liverpool and spent the night tormenting Vogts. Gladbach pulled level, then Smith headed Liverpool back in front. Keegan's duel with Vogts produced the penalty that Neal scored to win it.
