Kelly's Scramble at Wembley

England 2–1 Germany · AET · Wembley Stadium, London

A scrambled corner ended 56 years of waiting for England.

Toone's chip put England ahead, Magull levelled, and the final went to extra time in front of a record 87,192. Kelly, on as a substitute, stabbed home at the second attempt after a corner bounced off Bronze. She whirled her shirt over her head, and England had their first major senior trophy since 1966.
