Kempes Wins It in Extra Time

Two from Kempes, and Argentina won their first World Cup.

Kempes put Argentina ahead before half-time. Nanninga equalised late, and Rensenbrink hit the post in the final seconds of normal time. Kempes scored again at the end of the first period of extra time, and Bertoni added a third.
