Mbappé Arrives in Kazan

France 4–3 Argentina · Kazan Arena, Kazan, Russia

Mbappé, 19, turned a 2-2 game into a French win.

Mbappé, 19, won the early penalty that Griezmann converted, then scored twice in four minutes to turn a 2-2 game into 4-2. Pavard's half-volley had levelled it before that, and Agüero's header in stoppage time made the finish tense. France won 4-3 and Argentina were out.
