Vinícius at the Back Post

Real Madrid 1–0 Liverpool · Stade de France, Saint-Denis

Courtois made nine saves, and Vinícius needed only one chance.

Valverde drove a low cross-shot into the box on 59 minutes, and Vinícius was at the back post to put it past Alisson. After a start delayed by 36 minutes, that was the only goal, and Courtois' nine saves made sure it stayed that way. Real Madrid had their fourteenth European Cup.
