Alisson Goes Up

West Brom 1–2 Liverpool · The Hawthorns, West Bromwich

The keeper walked forward for the last corner and the season changed.

Liverpool had been level since the 33rd minute and needed the win to keep a Champions League place in their own hands. Deep into stoppage time Alisson went up for a corner, met Alexander-Arnold's delivery and headed it in. No Liverpool goalkeeper had scored in a competitive match before, and there was no crowd to hear it.
